Slate roofing

A local firm – Helmut Dörr GmbH of Püttlingen-Köllerbach – committed themselves to provide at no cost, a roofer with the necessary expertise in slate roofing, for the chapel roof. So, that takes care of another substantial problem.

First jobs accomplished

Mr. David Murzyn and his father have taken care of some of the preparatory work on the chapel project, in February. They cleared up the grounds around the chapel, cut a recess into the cornice stone that had been in contact with the right-hand black pine, and removed the old slates on the roof.
